Bristol Dog and Cat Home

In Bristol lost, unwanted and stray animals are cared for by Bristol Dogs and Cats Home and the RSPCA Bristol Animal Clinic in St. Philips. Both of these facilities are run by the RSPCA Bristol and District Branch which is independent from the National RSPCA. Animals are brought in by RSPCA Inspectors, Animal Collection Officers, Dog Wardens and members of the public. Healthy or sick, young or old, all animals are welcome and cared for by dedicated and experienced staff and volunteers. The facilities at the Clinic and Dogs and Cats Home allow us to treat and rehome literally thousands of animals each year. However, our annual running costs exceed £1.4 million. To meet these costs we rely entirely on the support of the public through fundraising, donations and legacies.
