  • About your transaction

    • A completed quote is not an Eligible Purchase and therefore is not eligible for Cashback, you will only be eligible for Cashback on a completed purchase of a policy.
      You will only be eligible for Cashback if Compare the Market is able to link your purchase to the TopCashback website. This means you must:
      1. Log into your account
      2. Click from TopCashback directly to the Compare the Market website ensuring you have selected the correct product category
      3. Generate a brand new quote and make your purchase immediately (in the same session and without exiting your browser)

  • What will stop me getting cashback?
    • Editing or using a previously saved quote from your Compare the Market account will not track and you will not be eligible for Cashback.
    • If you apply an additional discount that reduces your overall purchase price, this may cause your cashback to be declined or reduced. e.g Voucher codes, student discount, staff discount.
    • If you don't pay your Insurance Premium in full or, if paying by Direct Debit your payments are not kept up to date.
    • If you have any cookie blockers active in your browser that prevent the transaction to be tracked correctly.
    • If you participate in any other offer/ promotion that is not covered in the retailer Cashback rates.
    • If you, or the insurer, cancel the policy before cashback is deposited in your account.
    • If your purchase is not fully completed online.
    • Using a promotional/voucher code not posted and approved by TopCashback.
  • What else is essential?
    • You must have registered your BACS details with us in order to get cashback from this merchant.
    • Purchases must be completed immediately and fully online.

    • Transactions will initially show as pending and will be validated 90 days after the policy start date.

    • Transactions will initially track at £0 and uplift upon validation
    • This merchant calculates cashback excluding VAT, delivery and any other charges.
  • Good to know
    • Cashback is not issued by the merchant. If you have any queries regarding Cashback or payments, please contact TopCashback Customer Support directly and not the merchant.

    • Cashback rates are subject to change and may increase or decrease at any time.

    • Cashback will be confirmed after your policy has been active for at least 90 days. Payment could take up to 130-180 days after validation.

    • The merchant reserves all rights to take action (including legal action) as is considered necessary in its sole discretion in order to prevent or redress any fraudulent or otherwise unlawful use of their website.

    • This offer is only available to United Kingdom residents who have purchased a valid insurance policy through Compare the Market via TopCashback.
    • This programme is being monitored. TopCashback members transacting fraudulently with this retailer will have their membership terminated immediately and may have their details passed to the authorities for further investigation.
  • What to do when
    • All policies are run through extensive validation checks and cashback will only be paid on valid policies. The eligibility is checked 90 days after the policy start date.
    • If your Cashback is not tracked, Compare the Market allow up to 45 days after the purchase date to submit a claim.
    • If your Cashback is rejected, Compare the Market allow up to 6 months after the purchase date to submit a claim.
    • We will make all reasonable endeavors to secure the payment of commission on a transaction but we do not and cannot make any guarantee in this regard.
