Holiday Extras now offers COVID-19 cover as standard on all policy types which includes cover for cancellation as a result of you being diagnosed with COVID-19 14 days before departure date, curtailment if a family member back home in the UK is hospitalised with COVID-19 and being treated with mechanical ventilation or dies as a result of COVID-19 whilst you're away on holiday and medical expenses cover if you contract COVID-19 whilst away. There is also an option to add on Enhanced COVID-19 Cover for an additional premium if travelling within Europe. This provides cover for travel against the advice of the FCDO (providing that advice is in place solely due to COVID-19 only) cancellation up to 14 days before the departure date as a result of an adverse reaction to the COVID-19 vaccine or as a result of you being contacted by NHS Test & Trace and having to self-isolate due to being in contact with someone who has tested positive that prevents you missing the start of your trip. Single trip and Annual Multi Trip cover available as well as cover for cruises, winter sports and hazardous activities.
