What will stop me getting cashback?
- Cashback is only available on Santander acccounts set up online.
- Cashback will not be paid if the Santander account has been cancelled or closed.
- Cashback will only be paid on one successful application for a Santander or cahoot Loan.
- If you get a quote via the TopCashback link but then purchase using a price comparison site, you will not receive cashback.
- If you pay back the loan within 90 days of receiving the loan funds you won’t get cashback.
- In order to receive the cashback you must click through to the Santander website via the TopCashback link. You must generate a new quote and purchase directly. Renewals do not qualify for cashback.
- Using a promotional/voucher code not posted and approved by TopCashback.
What else is essential?
- After clicking through to the Santander website from the link, you must generate a new application and complete the transaction immeditietly.
- Cashback is confirmed within 90 days of your loan start date. Payment will take 4-6 weeks after this time.
- Cashback rates are subject to change, both up and down.
- Cashback will not be paid if the account application is in any way fraudulent, e.g. has been obtained with stolen or fabricated personal details.
- Only clicks generated from inside the UK will be accepted onto this campaign from Santander.
- Purchases must be completed immediately and fully online.
- The standard Santander account eligibility criteria apply.
- This programme is being monitored. Any accounts holders making fraudulent applications to Santander will have their membership terminated immediately and may have their details passed to the authorities for further investigation.
- All transactions will be validated by Santander. There is a 90 days validation period from the Policy commencement date, after which Santander will confirm the transaction is valid. On meeting this criteria, any valid tracked purchases will be confirmed.
What to do when
- Make sure you have third party cookie tracking enabled and you allow the confirmation page to fully load before closing the window. Whilst the vast majority of transactions from merchants track successfully, occasionally a transaction may not get reported. If you believe this to be the case, please submit a 'Missing Cashback' query within 30 days of the transaction, as we will be unable to chase up older claims
- We will make all reasonable endeavors to secure the payment of commission on a transaction but we do not and cannot make any guarantee in this regard.
