  • What will stop me getting cashback?
    • Each Scottish Friendly member can only open one Investment ISA with us. Multiple ISA applications over any time period will be merged together and you may not receive cashback on any additional applications.
    • If the new policy is cancelled within 12 months of commencement we reserve the right to deduct the value of the cashback from any surrender value or refund of premiums
    • If you are an employee of Scottish Friendly.
    • If you have purchased a product with Scottish Friendly in the past but have since cancelled the policy.
    • If you purchase using stolen or fabricated details.
    • If you stop paying, reduce your premiums or cancel your policy.
    • If your monthly payments are less than the stated offer amount.

    • Some merchants may not be forthcoming with untracked cashback. We endeavor to chase untracked cashback but reserve the right to halt enquiries at any time. Please do not make purchase decisions based upon expected cashback as it is not guaranteed.
    • The gift card is a My Rewards voucher which will be sent you within 28 days of receiving your first payment. Once registered you will be able to access the full list of retailers.
    • The rates above include a bonus relevant to your membership level - 5% for Plus members and 1% for classic.
    • There is a minimum validation period of 60 days, after which Scottish Friendly will ensure the transaction is valid and that the minimum number of consecutive payments have been received.
    • This merchant calculates cashback excluding VAT, delivery and any other charges.
    • To qualify for cashback you must make payments into the policy at least equal to the value of the cashback.
    • Transactions for this merchant should appear as pending within 24 hours. They will remain at this status until the retailer confirms that we're eligible for cashback. Once this happens your purchase will reach the confirmed stage of your account. When the merchant then pays us the cashback we can make this payable in your account.
    • Unless otherwise stated, expect transactions for this retailer to appear within 24 hours. Transactions are confirmed once consecutive payments are at least equal to the cashback amount and should become payable within six months of the date of the last payment received into the policy.
    • We reserve the right to refuse the issue of gift cards where multiple ISA applications have been made, and where we consider that the terms of this reward offer have been abused.
    • Whilst the vast majority of transactions from merchants track successfully, occasionally a transaction may not get reported. If you believe this to be the case, please submit a 'Missing Cashback' query within 4 months of the transaction. We will be unable to chase up claims older than this.
    • You can only withdraw your cashback via BACS once it reaches payable status.

  • What to do when
    • A "Missing Cashback" query must be submitted within 100 days of the transaction, if the transaction does not track automatically.
