  The Flying Flowers story began in 1981 on the Channel Island of Jersey, when holidaymakers began to fly out their now famous mixed carnations to loved ones back home instead of a postcard.

  Their aim today is to still send great value, quality fresh flowers by post, although they now also offer delivery by courier and flowers by florist. While their story began with gorgeous carnations, their offering has grown to include a wide range of blooms, including roses. However, happy customers still love their classic carnations, which remain among their best selling items.

• Delivery

  Free delivery by post orders are sent via the Royal Mail first class service and normally arrive on your chosen delivery date.

  However, in some cases, it may be delivered on the next available date. If you need your gorgeous flowers to arrive on a specific day, you should upgrade to their tracked courier service, while they also offer next day delivery if you order before 4.30pm Monday-Friday.

  Their florist creations will be delivered by Interflora, who offer various delivery options. Order by 3pm Monday-Friday and you can opt for same day delivery, while next day or nominated day delivery is available between 9am and 6pm. Morning delivery is available between 9am and noon, while you can choose afternoon delivery, which will see items arrive between noon and 6pm.

  Your fresh flowers will arrive in a Flying Flowers box, which will include a personal message, flower food and care instructions.
