Throughout this awful Covid-19 pandemic, one thing has become very clear – we love the NHS and we love the many heroes that are putting their own lives at risk by doing all they can to protect us. TopCashback have, as part of our drive to raise money for the NHS Heroes charity, decided to match donations up to the value of £10,000. You can read more about this initiative here. But if you’re looking for more companies that are doing great things for the NHS & our carers, look no further. We’ve put together a collection of some of the best NHS-supporting initiatives around.

Boden

Partnering with the charity HelpForce, Boden and the charity are coordinating to help make the lives of NHS staff better. Boden have donated their clothes supply to NHS staff who are unable to return home at the end of hospital shifts and to recovered patients, unable to get clothing from their families in hospital due to the risk of infection.

BuyAGift

 BuyAGift are offering a generous 30% cashback to all NHS, healthcare and emergency workers as a thank you for all their hard work during this period. They’re also offering free online courses to everyone, keeping everyone entertained at home!

 

 

Deliveroo

Deliveroo are fundraising so they can offer thousands of free meals to those who are working in the NHS and Healthcare service. With help from their restaurant partners, they intend to deliver 500,000 free meals to NHS staff helping to fight the virus. If you’re willing to help, you can donate via the website.

ISAWITFIRST

 ISAWITFIRST are supporting their wider community by donation 1000s of hand sanitisers to their local children’s hospital. ISAWITFIRST have also donated 100% of their profits from their recent ‘Blue edit campaign’ to the NHS. As a thank you, they’re offering 25% discount to all NHS, Police, Army & Government staff.

John Lewis

 John Lewis are donating a vast range of items such as pillows, phone chargers, eye masks and hand cream to hospitals. They have also donated 50,000 Easter treats as a gesture of thanks to NHS staff.

Kurt Geiger

Kurt Geiger are supporting the NHS by encouraging their staff to do voluntary work and distributing vouchers to the NHS staff working in critical care departments. They’ve also team up with ES Magazine and created a canvas tote bag, with 100% of profits from every sale going to the NHS. Their aim is to raise £1 million by the end of the year through the sale of these bags with all profits going directly to ‘NHS Charities Together’. In addition, the fashion brand is offering a 50% discount for NHS staff for a whole year, when they shop in store and online (with the Blue Light Card.)

L’Occitane

 Following the decision to temporarily close all their stores,L’Occitane have announced that they are donating 10,000 hand creams directly to the NHS and hospitals in the UK. This contribution is in order to help staff look after their skin, to help sore hands from frequent washing.

Missoma

This jewellery brand are selecting 100 NHS workers via Instagram by inviting their followers to nominate someone. These key workers will be gifted with a gold necklace. “We know jewellery isn’t an essential item at this time,” said founder and creative director Marisa Hordern, “but we hope that by sending 100 members of the NHS staff a small token, we can bring a little sparkle to their day. Missoma have also recently introduced ‘The Round of Applause necklace’, as a token of gratitude for NHS workers. Their best-selling 18ct gold vermeil round pendant necklace has been specially engraved with clapping hands on the front. 100% of the profits from this necklace will be donated to the NHS!

Royal Mint

 The Royal Mint have developed and manufactured a medical visor to support NHS staff in their current fight against coronavirus and they’re now producing over 10,000 a day! They are also offering NHS staff generous discounts via the health service discount. You can read our full blog here!

Ted Baker

Ted Baker are showing their gratitude to the NHS by donating clothes, shoes and accessories to frontline staff at a selection of hospitals across the UK. They hope that this gesture will make a small difference to our NHS heroes.

 

Master of Malt

 Master of Malt are supporting the NHS by operating a “Give one, Get one” initiative.
During this difficult time they’ve decided to adapt their warehouse, and they are now busily converting alcohol into hand sanitiser.
This means for every bottle you buy, Master of Malt will be giving another bottle to the NHS or other front-line services for free!

 

Little Mistress

Little Mistress have teamed up with Kindred.co and they’re aiming to raise 5 million for NHS charities! When you buy something from their Rainbow Thank You range, 100% of the proceeds after costs go directly to NHS Charities Together.
