• Company History

  The Kurt Geiger story began in London in 1963 when they opened stores in both Bond Street and Sloane Street, and the brand has not stood still since, with their range of fashionable footwear and accessories blending London style with urban wearability.

  Some 14 years after their initial stores opened, Kurt Geiger opened in Harrods, while the following year saw them merge with Carvela. Their shoes began being sold in Selfridges in 1991 while, having sold only women's footwear until then, they launched a men's collection in 1995.

  Two years later, an edgier, more urban KG Kurt Geiger line hit the shops, while this was followed at the start of the millennium by a new store concept and their website. The brand expanded into Europe and the Middle East in 2007, while they introduced the 'Stiletto' as a brand signature style two years later.
