  Argento, which means silver in Italian, was started in 1997 by Pete Boyle who, at the time, was a street trader selling jewellery on the market stalls of Belfast.

  His idea was to make the company a one-stop shop for everything jewellery and this prompted him to open his first store. Since then, he has opened 55 shops across the UK and Ireland, as well as launched a successful global website. As a result, Argento now sell to almost every country in the world.

• Engraving

  You can take advantage of free engraving on their selected range of personalised products, which includes Argento bracelets, to make your purchases even more special.

  They use a high-powered fibre laser created by jewellery specialists to produce the deepest, most accurate and clearest effect on even small pieces. When engraving rose gold or any precious metal, the laser peels away the layers of the material, leaving the chosen image or words in place.

  The original colour of the metal you are engraving will remain. However, depending on the item, the more letters you choose will impact on the size of the lettering and how it will look. Argento undertake most engraving within five working days, although if you would like it sooner, you can tick the next working day delivery option during checkout.

  They will hope to have the order dispatched within 48 hours, although they cannot guarantee same day dispatch. When a piece of Argento jewellery has been engraved, it cannot be resold.
