• 5G For Free

  iD Mobile customers can get the latest generation of mobile network technology for free on selected handsets.

  With 5G, you can enjoy faster download speeds, improved connectivity in busy areas and less buffering when streaming films and making video calls. To experience the fastest mobile network technology, you will need to have a 5G capable phone. You will also need to be in a location covered by Mobile iD’s 5G network. Enter your postcode into iD Mobile’s coverage checker to see if 5G is available where you are.

  Coverage depends on whether your handset is compatible, as 5G on the iD Mobile network is available on selected devices. A number of big brands have handsets that will work on the iD Mobile 5G network, including the latest Apple and Samsung phones, like the Galaxy A52s 5G and iPhone 13 Pro Max. • Delivery

  Place your order by 8pm Monday-Thursday and you can benefit from free next day parcel delivery on phones and tablets.

  SIM cards (SIM only or DataOnly) are delivered by Royal Mail and will usually take 2-3 working days to arrive. DPD will send you a text message on the day of delivery to confirm a one-hour time slot, unless you live in a remote area which falls outside of their time slot service.

  You can also track your DPD delivery with your order reference number. If you are not home when DPD attempt to deliver your parcel, they will leave a card, on which you will find a number to call to rearrange delivery. With Royal Mail deliveries, if it does not fit through the letterbox, they will leave a card and you will usually have seven days to pick it up from your local depot or rearrange delivery.

• Returns

  Should you wish to return an item bought online, you can do so for an exchange or refund within 30 days of the day after delivery.

  You can do so by connecting with their live chat team who will create the return transaction and talk you through the process of returning your item. Alternatively, you can return an item by taking it to any Carphone Warehouse store. However, you need to do this within 14 days and will also need to show proof of purchase.

  When processing your return via the live chat team, you will need to send your items back by post. This includes the products, all packaging, accessories and any promotional items. The live chat team will give you a Return Transaction Number and the address to send it back to. You will then need to send it back at your own cost, including the Return Transaction Number and obtaining proof of purchase.

  If you start an iD plan, meanwhile, you can disconnect it within 14 days of it starting by contacting the customer support centre or cancelling via the app. Although you will not be charged, you will be billed for daily line rental and any other activities which incur a charge, such as buying an add-on or making an international call.
