• Grocery Click+Collect

  Click+Collect offers a convenient way for you to pick up your groceries.

  It’ll allow you to book a two-hour collection slot at one of their stores and your groceries will be waiting for you in temperature-controlled storage. They’ll give you an electronic delivery note to sign, as well as a physical receipt. Sometimes, one or more of your items might not be available when they pick your order at your local Tesco store. This could be because it has gone out of stock, for example.

  If you choose to allow substitutions, they’ll offer you a suitable alternative. Their Click+Collect colleague will make it clear if you’re being offered an alternative. If you don’t want it, you can give it back to them and your payment card will be refunded. They price match their substitutions, so if they offer you a more expensive product than the one you ordered, you won’t pay any more.

  If any items are damaged, you can also hand them back to the Click+Collect colleague, who will process a refund. When you order online, you’ll be shown the available Click+Collect slots and charges. You can book your Click+Collect date and time up to three weeks in advance. When you checkout online, there will be an option for you to choose your preferred Tesco store.

• What is ‘Guide Pricing’?

  When you place an order via the Tesco website, the total cost will be shown as a ‘guide price’.

  This means it could be higher or lower than the actual bill you receive for your order. Between you placing your order and getting it delivered, there may be new promotions, such as multibuy deals and discounts. This is typical of price changes which might affect the final basket total. Also, with loose fruit and veg, like grapes and mushrooms, they charge by weight, so the final price will depend on the ones they pick for you.
