• Delivery

  There are two ways to book a delivery. You can click the 'book a single delivery' link in the top left-hand corner of your page. You will then be asked to confirm your delivery address before you are shown available slots up to 21 days in advance.

  If you have not already reserved a delivery slot, you will be prompted to do so when you are checking out. While they recommend you book a time slot before you place an order, a reserved slot expires after 60 minutes if you have not checked out, meaning you will need to reserve the slot again or possibly book a new one.

  If you need to change a delivery, click on the 'order' tab and find the order you wish to change. When the order details appear, click the 'change delivery' link and you will be able to choose your preferred time. The easiest way to guarantee the same delivery slot each week is to sign up to their Ocado Reserved service, which is easy, flexible and free.

• Click & Collect

  Their Click & Collect service lets you choose when and where you would like to collect your shopping, rather than having a delivery. This allows you, if you are out and about, to pick up your groceries at a collection point which suits you.

  They will automatically show you a list of locations near to your primary address, while you can search for another postcode if you would like to collect your shopping elsewhere. Choose a time slot and they will make sure it is ready for collection, then do your shopping and check out as usual.

  When you collect your shopping, you should take along a form of ID (photo driving licence, passport or credit card belonging to the person who placed the order) and your order number, which can be found in the confirmation text message or email.

  If you are in your car, just drive up to the Click & Collect stand and show your ID or order number to a customer service team member, who will get your shopping out of the van and put it in the boot for you. You can also collect your groceries from a Doddle store.

• Ocado Smart Pass

First of all, you can wave goodbye to delivery charges, with the only exception being Christmas week, when Smart Pass delivery benefits are suspended.
