Safe Haven for Donkeys

As well as running a sanctuary for old, sick and abandoned donkeys, our charity provides free veterinary care for poor, broken down animals that their owners would otherwise have no way of affording. By helping their working animals we are helping the people. We have worked hard to build relationships with many of these poverty stricken people and managed to reach out to their hearts. As a result they value our help tremendously and I find their appreciation so rewarding

Send a Cow

Send a Cow helps African farmers grow enough food to feed their families, sell their produce and develop small businesses that last. We do this by providing training, livestock, seeds and ongoing support; and by helping families make the most of the land and resources they already have. As a result, families are happier and healthier, children are educated, homes are improved. In turn, these families then pass on young livestock, seeds or training to others. And so on. And so on. This ‘pass on’ principle not only builds stronger communities, it allows us to help even more people to develop skills, confidence and self respect. The can do will do attitude of Send a Cow is born out of our faming roots and our Christian faith. Working hand in hand with African farmers for over 20 years, we prove that farming in Africa works.
